Magnolia Metrics is a company I co-founded in 2022. We focused in Web Development in local businesses in the greater Columbia SC area until early 2023, when we made the switch to software development.
Now we focus in software development, creating traffic optimization algorithms from information gathered by our object detection machine learning models within intersections.
This has allowed for the development of my business skills. From Negotiation & Decision Making to Business & Project Managment, the skills I have learned first-hand from my field experience have been crutial to my career growth.
We recently took our business through the Launch Chapel Hill Small Business Accelorator. During our time, we were able to develop our companies business model and bussiness plan. We learned the essentials to pitching and practiced this through various investor and government pitches, allowing our company to gain clearance for a pilot program from the NCDOT.
